My name is Helle Liane, I live in Denmark. I have a Bachelor in Relaxation and Psychomotor Therapy.
Psychomotricity is a practical and theoretical discipline that came into existence in the 1940's in a number of European countries.
In short terms: - Movement and Relaxation - Exercise - Body Consciousness and Body Experience - Body Therapy - Treatment and Rehabilitation - Promotion of Health and Prevention - Propagation and Counselling
The scientific foundation of psychomotricity consists of movemental science, pedagogy, psychology, health and natural science.
I am also a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and teaches in small groups as well as a Personal Trainer. Links:

In Pilates the focus is first of all on core stability. Core stability is about training the muscles that support the spine and is fundamental to the Pilates Method. Core stability is important because it provides a protective muscular corset which helps to stabilize the spine. It also helps to prevent or reduce lower back pain.
